Beverley & East Riding GC
A top class track on offer at knockdown rate
Situated just outside the market town of Beverley, in East Yorkshire on land known as the ?Glorious Westwood' Beverley and East Riding GC is a top class track on offer at knockdown rate.
It's a very skilful course that requires long drives and good iron shots, you'll also need some very precise putting to keep a low score due to the fast greens. The holes have some odd names such as the 'gallop', 'Mill Vale' and 'Majuba Hill'. Look out for the cows from the nearby farm, but don't worry, they can't get to the greens because of the fencing.
For 20 quid you get access to an excellently laid out course and the chance to breathe in fresh Yorkshire air. Not bad.
Best Hole: Hard to pick one, but there is a tough little closing stretch to kep your interest going as you move towards the clubhouse
Green Fees: £16 weekdays, £21 weekends
Location: The Westwood, Beverley, HU17 8RG
Tel: 01482 868757
