You'll soon forget the hustle and bustle of London life as you knuckle down to 18 holes at Wimbledon Park in SW19. From the card, as many courses do in our misguided little heads, this appears to be a straightforward track - no par-5s while measuring under 5,500 yards. But, playing it is a different matter.

You'll need to have your positive head on at the first with a full car park looming for any nervy prods left but if you can find the fairways you should discover some birdie opportunities out there. The par-four sixth is the most memorable hole on the front side where, all being well, your second should be played to a narrow green with out of bounds on the left and water on the right. The par-three next offers another chance to get your feet wet but, at 137 yards, only an enormous fat dunch with a short iron will cost you a ball.

On the back nine the uphill 422-yard 12th, where you tee off from under the gaze of the All England Lawn Tennis Club (that's Wimbledon to you and me), provides the stiffest test.

Best Hole: The 422-yard 12th is an uphill par-4 that requires some strong accurate hitting.
