Generally considered the tougher of the Berkshire's two Top 100 courses, the Blue opens with a gem of a par 3 played over a hidden valley and sea of heather to a green some 217 yards away. The closing quintet of tough par 4s provides a sting in the tail, with the 16th a real standout hole playing across a gentle dip to a green framed by the grandest of pines.

Panellists' comments: "Heather and trees define each hole"; "Good mix of short and long par 4s"; "11th a little out of keeping"
