Stunning natural links course built on a promontory of sand that is constantly expanding as the sea gives back more land.
There are three loops of nine, with the Red and the Blue making up the Championship course.
A real feature is the trio of short holes, all excellent and played in different directions with completely different aspects.
Of these, the 12th is shortish, well-bunkered and has a wicked slope in the green, while the 15th is the signature hole played along the shore edge.
The setting of the 1st tee continues to be one of the most stirring in golf. SP
