Hankley is yet another of those very fine Surrey heathland courses, and also part of a Site of Special Scientific Interest. If you are lucky, you may catch sight of any one of a number of rare birds, deer, badgers, snakes or lizards.
However, it is the golf that will linger longest in the memory as there are 18 distinctly different holes and each is a joy to play.
There is a great set of par 3s, especially the 7th, and the closing hole is a real sting in the tail with a deep and wide gully protecting the green on this long two-shotter. RS
+ Great variety of holes; excellent condition; strong set of par 3s - Very testing for higher handicappers
