38 - Top 50 UK & Ireland Stay and Play East Sussex National

When the hotel was added to East Sussex National's impressive facilities a few years ago, its styling mirrored that of the existing clubhouse with its distinctive round towers, one of which houses the à la carte restaurant with views out over the East course and South Downs beyond. All the spacious, well-equipped rooms offer that same view. The courses themselves are great fun and require different skills for each. The East course offers room to open the shoulders, while the West has greater character, especially when it plays up towards the charming Horsted Place hotel. There are a number of water hazards on both, but the extensive practice facilities provide ample scope to warm up before taking them on.
