Nike's four-piece offering has a firmer cover tyhan previous models, which reduces spin from the tee for increased distance. A 'Power Transfer Layer' under the cover brings the inner mantles into play for long shots, and helps to produce high levels of short-iron spin.

Golf Monthly Verdict

Like previous premium Nike balls, this felt very solid off the driver and delivered long distances. Off-centre hits seemed to produce quite a lot of side spin, but this also meant it felt as though it was easy to work the ball with longer clubs.
