TaylorMade Burner Superfast 2.0 driver

Price: £249.00

A review of the TaylorMade Burner Superfast 2.0 driver

Design and Tech Benefits

The TaylorMade Burner SuperFast 2.0 is TaylorMade's lightest driver to date, weighing 279g, while a bigger and deeper clubface combines with a low centre of gravity to promote a high launch angle and low spin rate.

Lightweight definitely equals long here with noticeably improved yardage. However, the longer shaft resulted in a noticeable loss of accuracy compared to the R11.

Golf Monthly Verdict

The lightweight TaylorMade Burner Superfast 2.0 design really encourages you to swing hard at the ball and good strikes fly noticeably further than most. The distance gain does result in a slight drop in accuracy.

I am older so have always looked for what could keep my distance up. I had a burner and loved it so bought this club. I just could not hit it. It sprayed all over the place for me. Played with it for maybe 20 rounds and went back to the old burner
