Cobra S3 driver

A review of the Cobra S3 driver

Design and Tech Benefits

E9 technology features a tall, elliptical clubface with a bevelled perimeter, which is designed to provide an expanded ‘Sweetzone' on the Cobra S3 driver. Adjustable Flight Technology enables golfers to select Open, Neutral or Closed face angle. The Cobra S3 driver has one of the easiest adjustable hosel designs to understand with a good looking headshape.

Forgiveness, control and consistency is all there, it is just not quite as long as some.

Golf Monthly Verdict

The Cobra S3 driver sits nicely between the lightweight, distance focused models and the most complex adjustable designs. Another step up visually in the Cobra driver range.

I had the cobra s2 and enjoyed it but when cobra came to my club and fitted me for the new s3 i was blown away by the distance and accurracy i was getting. My bad drive always came off the toe of the club but with the s3 you really can feel the e9 face technology working. Its a funny feeling that you can feel thru your hands, and you know you have not hit it well but when you look up to see where your baal has goneyou will be very surprised like i was to see the ball fly straight and still gain considerable distance. Highly recommend this driver.
