Design and Tech Benefits

Building on the success of the G10 driver, the PING G15 driver has a larger head profile to increase the Moment of Inertia (MOI) by 15%. The face is also 7% larger than the previous model, helping to generate higher ball speeds for added distance.

This driver should suit golfers who want PING’s most forgiving driver to date, like a large head, but traditional shape, and were fans of previous PING G models.

Golf Monthly Verdict

While the looks follow the G-series tradition, there are some big changes. The PING G15 driver head seems bigger, but sits well at address. It produces a higher-pitched impact noise and there were improvements in forgiveness levels.

Traded up to the G15 from the G10 which I had been very happy with. I find that the G15 model sits rather closed at address compared to the G10 and I was initially finding that because of this my tee shots were either pulled slightly, or were drawing and finding the left hand side of the fairway or the first cut. I wasn't getting into serious trouble with it, but it has taken me a little time to adjust, whereas with the G10 I just set it up behind the ball and hit it.
Distance is at least on a par with the G10, if I really get hold of one then it's definitely longer by a good few yards.
I ordered mine with the optional Grafalloy Prolaunch red shaft which gives a really nice, low, boring flight and plenty of run.

Tried it out on the range yesterday. It was an instant hit. I could control the ball drawing and fading which I have never been able to do. It was very forgiving and my drives were huge compared to normal. Bought it straight away.

I have been playing golf for about 2 years and I have never been able to get to grips with a driver i am happy with usually having a problem with a big fade. Until I tried the G15 driver draw edition I would recommend the G15 to anyone who is looking for a driver its very forgiving and straight of the tee.

Bought the G15 Draw two months ago - made a huge difference to my confidence on the tee. Nice look, good feel and with the Draw bias improves my tee shots no end. I would recommend this club to straight hitters and slicers. I am now considering the 3 wood version.

my first driver and most probably my last, i cannot imagine having anything else in my bag ! I bought the 12 degree loft version which gets the ball into the air with ease and I would highly reccomend it for the higher handicapper. it sits easy at address and sounds awesome when you connect sending the ball 200 yards + on the fly and straight. it give you huge confidence on the tee and its forgiving flight allows you to use it on those holes when the 3 wood or irons usually come out. quite simply the best 200 quid i will spend on any golf club.

Just bought my new G15 from G5. I don't have any regrets . All my golf balls landed straight in fairway . The sound was fantastic and solid. recommended to all golfers.
