Adams Insight a3 XTD driver review

Price: £200.00

Adams comes onto the square driver market with this classy offering. It's intended to catch the top end of the market, with a number of different shaft options.

Design and Tech Benefits

Boxer technology in the Adams Insight a3 is designed to offer maximum distance for players with mid to high swing speeds. The neutral weighted head has the majority of its weight pushed into the corners for extra forgiveness. The driver is fitted as standard with Aldila’s high performance DVS shaft. An Adams XTD a30s model is also available for players with slower swing speeds while an XTD Pro is designed for top amateurs and professionals.

Golf Monthly Verdict

Square drivers often struggle aesthetically because there is too much to look down on and before hitting the Adams Insight a3 I was unsure about the markings on top of the head. From the first hit this driver proved me wrong; it felt extremely solid and strikes out of the middle flew high and long. A substantial amount of distance was lost on mis-hits though, but at least they did not stray too far from the fairway!
