Design and Tech Benefits
Cobra's new L5V driver has adjustable settings, engineered to help produce longer and straighter drives than ever before. With two settings, “Standard” and “Draw-Biased”, players are able to use the Cobra L5V’s fitting torque wrench to switch. Indeed, with the Draw-Biased setting, the L5V will surely be seen as a game saver for higher handicappers who struggle with a right-to-left shape off the tee.
Golf Monthly Verdict
We found this an extremely easy driver to hit, and the adjustable setting will offer forgiveness to players who struggle with a left to right shape off the tee when set to draw-biased (setting 1). The clubhead looked great at set-up and filled us with confidence. With over 30 custom-fitted shaft options available, the L5V is sure to be a hit for players looking to customise their games and the it already has a classy look to it. Retailing at £329.99, the L5V is not cheap, but will surely prove a hit with consistency off the tee its unique selling point.
