Design and Tech Benefits

The forgiveness offered by square technology is combined with improved aerodynamics to provide added distance. A tapered heel is combined with a ‘PowerBow' design along the toe to promote smooth airflow around the head. This results in a faster clubhead and increased ball speed.

The Nike SQ MACHSPEED fairway wood should suit golfers who want added control but a small head, like a shallow face that performs from rough, and/or need to hit their woods higher.

Golf Monthly Verdict

Forgiving technology in a compact design is a combination that is appearing more regularly in fairway woods and hybrids. This is a perfect example
with the square head helping to square the
face at impact without being too chunky.
