Design and Tech Benefits

The shallow face, higher moment of inertia and lower centre of gravity of the Cobra S2 fairway wood mean a high launch angle and optimal forgiveness.

Golf Monthly Verdict

We were really impressed by this fairway wood. It is versatile without being too small and intimidating at address. The gentle draw it offered ate up the yards off the tee and fairway.

The S2 has a simple, attractive look and combines size with playability. It doesn’t have the same shelf appeal as the S2 driver.

Having struggled to hit my 3 wood for some time, I was looking for something reliable to use off the tee when I couldnt trust my driver. Having read many reviews of numerous clubs, I decided on my budget to try the S2 3 wood (offset) and so glad I did. I have used it on the range a few times and around 3 rounds and every shot ive hit has either had a nice draw or gone dead straight (i previously sliced my 3 wood). They range from £60-£100 and for the cost are worth every penny. I love this club and is definitely extremely reliable off the tee. As for off the deck, as a 24 handicapper I struggle anyway but find this quite easy to hit. I would absolutely recommend this club!
