TaylorMade V Steel

Price: £149.00

TaylorMade's V Steel will appeal to golfers who like a lower, more boring flight with their fairway woods. If that's you, then this club could be worth a try.

Design and Tech Benefits

The dynamic V-shaped sole should minimise turf resistance at impact to prevent the club twisting or getting snagged in the grass, and allowing it to glide more smoothly into the back of the ball.

Golf Monthly Verdict

A crisp impact sound is followed by a solid, medium-high ball flight that should be able to deal with any adverse weather conditions. Forgiveness isn't the best feature but there is enough there to encourage mid or low handicappers. If a high ball flight is your thing this might not be for you but it's a solid performer at the top end of the market.
