Wilson Staff Di7 irons review

Price: £349.00

Wilson says the combination of slightly longer shafts, lower lofts and hugely forgiving heads on the Wilson Staff Di7 provide higher than usual levels of distance and forgiveness.

Design and Tech Benefits

These Wilson Staff Di7 irons incorporate lower profile faces, wide soles and undercut cavities that combine to lower the centre of gravity and make a higher ball flight more easily achievable.

In the steel-shafted version the tip is wider than standard, making the Di7 clubhead more stable as you swing and reducing its tendency to twist off-line in mis-hits.

Golf Monthly Verdict

This Wilson Staff Di7 iron successfully combines nice looks with ease of use. A powerful, consistent strike makes this a good value, mid-range iron. They're quite heavy in the head which makes them excellent from all kinds of lies.

I bought a set of the Di7 irons last year and I am delighted with them. They are very easy to hit and are a club longer than my previous irons (cobra).

Awsome clubs..best investment I ever made. My handicap has just kept falling since I brought these from 28 down to 22 in 6 months. Really easy to hit and so forgiving has filled me with confidence and so cheap. I tried these alongside Ping G10's, Taylor Made Burners,Mizuno MX irons, all top flight and twice the price in some instances. The Wilson DI7 still stood out as the best for me by a mile

I've just recently upgraded my clubs from "Golden Bears" to Di7irons, and wow did I notice the difference. I spent quite a bit of time in the store having a few practice swings and even then I could tell I was on to something special. My game has improved so much in such a short space of time. I feel I'm getting a better strike of the ball and that extra yardage gained with the long irons is a big bonus! I wouldn't have any problem recommending these to anyone!

These clubs are very good indeed. I never dropped a shot during transition from my old clubs. I am still a very high handicapper, but the point I am making is that these clubs fit right in from the word go. Every club across the range is very effective and has given me approx 10 yards across the board. They are now down to £240 4-SW. Excellent value for money from a company whose player won 2 Majors last year.
