Design and Tech Benefits
In terms of performance and looks these fit between the current MP-52 and MX-200 model. The undercut cavity design is more compact, offering more workability than any other iron in the MX line.
The Mizuno MX-300 irons should suit golfers who want a traditional-looking iron, require a healthy element of forgiveness, and aspire to enjoy Mizuno's classic forged-feel.
Price: £85 per steel club, £110 per graphite club
Golf Monthly Verdict
The forged MX-300 has a much cleaner look than the MX-1000 with relatively little offset. Ideal for those aware of their ball-striking shortcomings, but who shy away from anything too chunky. Very easy to hit with a powerful, high ball flight.

I had a fitting at the Mizuno fitting center at New Malden. I came away with the MX300, Pitching Wedge to 5 iron and he MP HiFli 3 and 4 iron hybrids. I have found these a great combination, giving me very good distance on the long irons and control on the mid to low irons. They look really good at address and have improved my game no end, winning my clubs monthly medal as well as coming 3rd and fifth over a run of 6 competitions.
