Key technology
A thick sole design reduces the destructive effect of poor strikes, whether they are fat or thin. The centre of gravity position makes shots from lower on the face perform more effectively
Will suit
Players who want added forgiveness with a soft feel
Those who can't find consistency in their irons
Golf Monthly Verdict
What impressed most about this game-improvement set was the shot dispersion, regardless of the type of strike. Long-iron shots caught slightly fat on a soggy day still flew similar to that of a good strike. For an all out forgiveness set of irons there was an impressive soft feel off the face.
The irons gave impressive forgiveness on soggy ground thanks to the thick sole and large cavity. A soft feel off the face of the irons was a pleasant surprise. The cavity can be seen at address in the long irons, which was slightly off-putting. These are not ideal for those looking for a lower flight. (Tested by GM's Paul O'Hagan & James Mason)
PGA Pro verdict
Unmistakably a relative of the Big Bertha. The wedge head looked quite small and compact, with strong loft. The wide sole was forgiving through the whole set, but the 3-iron looked almost too strong in loft; I would recommend the utility replacement option. By keeping the traditional features and benefits it is one of the best game-improvement irons on the market. (Tested by John Jacobs)

I had a custom fit session(highly recommended) at Callaway with Matt.He recommended these clubs, one degree flat with regular graphite shafts, also 3,4,5 hybrid Diablo Edge with regular graphite shafts and FT9 driver,10 degree with standard bias and regular flex Fujikura Z-com graphite shaft. All i can say is what an awesome set of clubs.I am now 54,playing off 17(lowest was 13)been struggling to play anywhere near my handicap for a few years and now I am consistently playing 5 or 6 shots below my handicap.Great looking clubs, great feel, superior distance and control(did have Callaway X-20 and X-18 before that).Hitting two clubs less compared with my old set. I would highly recommend you try these clubs if you are serious about improving your game(and have a custom fit).
