Golf Monthly Verdict
For the purist, these irons have to be tried. For those who want a hint of forgiveness, we’d advise using the bladed short irons and cavity mid and long irons. This offers the best of both worlds.
MacGregor blade set is one of the most beautiful we have ever seen. Shots that don’t find the middle of the club lose a lot of distance.

I have played these clubs since they were first introduced, blade short irons and cavity mid to long irons.
I absolutely love them, although I dont use the 3iron, preferring a resue, Playing of a single figure handicap for over 20yrs these are the best clubs I have owned, The feel from the forged heads is fantastic allowing me to shape the ball both ways, I find that the short irons give a tremendous amount of spin when hitting full shots into the green. If you like traditional looking clubs, give these a try.
