Callaway's new muscle backs have been extremely popular on Tour already but these are designed with good club golfers in mind as well.

Design and Tech Benefits

These muscle backs made an immediate impact when they arrived out on Tour, appearing in Phil Mickelson’s and Ernie Els’ bags as soon as they were available. Designed by Roger Cleveland, the forged heads have minimal offset and a thin top line to provide a compact look. The X-Muscle Back is designed to give a consistent trajectory that suits the best players in the world.

Golf Monthly Verdict

Many Callaway fans have waited a long time for the brand to produce a set of muscle backs. The heads are seriously intimidating to look down on, but the feel from the centre of the club is incredible. Not for everyone – particularly at this price – but seriously good ball-strikers will not be disappointed.
