Mizuno MP62 and MP-52 irons review
Price: £85.00
With both the MP-62 and MP-52 irons being "dual muscle" design, they produce the ultimate feel throughout the set, the MP-52's provide a little more forgiveness, due to there pocket cavity that they provide, but the ever so elegant looks and feel of the MP-62's just pip them to the post.

Design and Tech Benefits
The new MP-62 features a soleplate inspired by Luke Donald's personal grind, which helps to cut through the turf and produce a pure strike. A dual muscle bar helps to remove unwanted vibrations on miss-hits by placing mass behind the middle of the face for improved feel. The MP-52 also has a dual muscle design, but with a pocket cavity in the back of the head from 3 to 7-iron that should make them more forgiving. These have been designed with mid and low handicappers in mind who want a traditional looking, forged club without losing out on forgiveness.
Golf Monthly Verdict
We found it difficult to differentiate between these two excellent sets. Both continue the MP tradition of great looking irons that feel incredibly silky out of the middle. In terms of flight and feel there was little to separate the two, with the MP-52's offering marginally more forgiveness. Traditionalists will love the head shape and the look of both at address so it may come down to a question of aesthetics in the bag when choosing between one or the other.

Have recently been fitted for the MP62 irons with Rifle 5.5 shafts in replacement of my off the shelf MP30 irons.
They are a fantastic club which feel a touch heavier in the head and the lauch angle seems slightly higher than previous, but with the crisper strike and boring trajectory they are definitely more solid and accurate club
They are not very forgiving on off centre strikes but deliver that buttery feel of a forged iron when struck purely. With the exceptionally good spin rates, which is a combination of the quality of these irons along with the benefit of having them properly fitted (cannot recommend enough the benefit of this process) they are exceptional!
Definitely a better player iron but again an brilliant offering from Mizuno
