The BOA lacing system means that the Footjoy Contour shoes tighten via a dial in the heel that controls the tension of around two feet of steel micro-cable for a perfect fit. The Footjoy Contour construction is often found in running shoes and increases flexibility.
Golf Monthly Verdict
The unique lacing system is superb and really comes into its own on cold mornings. The Footjoy Contour design gives far more support than you might imagine. The traditional styling is understated and the leather is long lasting.

Have owned these shoes for the best part of a year now and absolutely love the BOA lacing system. A real doddle and guarantees a good fit.
I went for the all black pair for winter use, but with hindsight wish I had chosen the white/tan ones now as I think they look less "clumpy".
But a good, comfortable, totally waterproof shoe.
