Nike Sasquatch Sumo hybrid review
Review Date: 16th July 2009
Design and Tech Benefits
The Nike Susquatch Sumo hybrid has a lightweight Cryo steel face, which helps maximise distance and forgiveness right across the face. This hybrid would suit golfers who prefer a more penetrating trajectory, and who like to work the ball from all kinds of lies.
- Nike Sasquatch Dymo fairway wood
- Nike Sasquatch Sumo 2 driver
- Nike SV Black wedge
- Nike Slingshot 4D irons
Golf Monthly Verdict
The Nike Susquatch Sumo hybrid is best suited to good ball strikers. Classic head shape delivers excellent distance from all but the deepest les with a boring trajectory.

First off i have to say how good looking the club is. sits really nice behind the ball and feels like you can really make any sort of swing and you will get the ball in the air quickly.
1 major point i do like about the club is its off-set head, makes it a great club to use off the tee, fairway or rough if you suffer with the dreaded slice!
i think any low handicaper will love this club and the way you can shape any shot out of it! But i do feel that even a high handicapper will take to it very quickly and love the forgiveness it give for such a small headed club.
I've been using the #2 18degree option and honestly think its the easiest club to hit ive ever owned. Just ask your pro to tape 1 up and go out have a round with it and i promise you, you will be ordering 1 as soon as you get off the course.
I know that NIKE dont get the praise like taylor made, ping, callaway and titleist but i cant think of and i havent tried a better utility! People should start using nike more cause they are making better clubs throughout there range than any other company! Just try it!
