Nike CPR Wood
Price: £110.00
This utility club from Nike is extremely forgiving, and could suit higher handicappers after a fast-track route to a higher ball flight.
Design and Tech Benefits
The curvy, red clubhead has an unusual, quirky look that is suprisingly appealing. It's marginally bigger than some utilities on the market but that shouldn't put you off.The scoop-back top cavity is designed to push the centre of gravity lower and your ball flight higher. Ideal for picking the ball up and punching it out of dodgy lies on and off the fairway.
Golf Monthly Verdict
This utility club does offer a very high ball flight - good for escaping from a bad lie but hard to control in windy conditions. It is also one of the most forgiving utilities out there, ideal for higher handicappers.

I'm a high handicapper and managed to get one of these last year for only £40, and it has turned out to be the best £40 i've spent. Its an attractive club and the shortish shaft makes it pretty easy to control though the headcover frays very easily. Its incredibly forgiving and easy to launch with a nice draw-flight. I would agree with the GM review that it is not the best club on a windy day but i find that it isn't too hard to hit a nice punch with it. I have the 26 degree version and can carry it over 180 yards off the tee. My only regret is that i didn't replace the rest of my long irons before Nike discontinued them.
