Cleveland Halo Utility Review

Cleveland Halo
Price: £109.00
Classic utility from Cleveland, the Halo should be easy to hit from a variety of different lies
Design and Tech Benefits
Wood style with generously rounded leading edge and concave crown. Unique sole design and low, deep centre of gravity make this a highly-versatile club from all kinds of lie. Designed with extra large sweetspot and high moment of inertia for added forgiveness and stability. Cleveland says the Halo should offer five to 10 yards more than an equivalently-numbered long iron.
Golf Monthly Verdict
The concave top created some unusual shading which took a bit of getting used to visually. The very rounded sole meant that from tight lies we got our best results with the ball back in the stance a touch. It had a very crisp contact sound, and we weren’t overly surprised that the sole design made it one of the most effective for serious rescue work. Very forgiving from the toe too.

My wife got the i3 22 degree for me for Christmas. All the reading in the mags said "get a hybrid".
Man, they weren't kidding. Took it to our local golf dome, (I'm in Michigan in January), started swinging
away and 'thunk', thunk', what a great feeling club. Dead off the sweetspot every time. I was all smiles.
Picked out a spot on the back wall about 75 yards away, only a 10 foot by 10 foot area and nine outta
ten shots I was nailing inside that square. Great launch angle. I figure I'm hitting it somewhere between
my 7 and 5 woods. BUT DEAD STRAIGHT. awesome.
