Niblick
Price: £99.00
Cleveland's new club combines the benefits of a hybrid, iron and wedge.
Design and Tech Benefits
By incorporating key hybrid, iron, wedge and putter features, Cleveland’s Niblick has been designed to combat a variety of on-course situations. It features the same heel-to-toe length of a hybrid, while the length of the shaft is the same as a putter. It should sit at address like an iron, but there is 8° of bounce on offer that should help the average player guard against fat shots.
Golf Monthly Verdict
The distinctive look of the Niblick didn’t immediately excite many members of the GM team. The elongated clubhead has a thick topline and unusual alignment aid that requires some getting used to. We were, however, impressed by the performance. The heavy head leads your hands through a smooth chipping stroke and it’s around the greens where you notice the performance benefits. If delicate shots are your nemesis, this could make a serious difference to your scoring potential.
