Sweet Feel Black NI

Price: £39.99

A wedge which offers good value for money and available in a wide range of specs.

Design and Tech Benefits

Forged from 8620 carbon steel, the head of the Sweet Feel has quite a high lustre with a satin top edge. Longer hosels than most to keep more head weight towards the heel and help prevent the clubhead closing too much at impact from thicker rough. The face's U-grooves are engineered to boost spin for extra control.

Golf Monthly Verdict

Head seemed a touchbigger than some with a good weight. Nice club that really got the ball dancing on landing.

M Chadwick

A nice wedge at only £25, it looks great with the dark finish and produces reasonable levels of spin on full shots, particularly on soft, winter greens. However, some more bounce options would be helpful – my 60 degree has six degrees of bounce which makes it easy to nip off any lie, but my divots are like trenches, even when struck cleanly! The only other bad point is that the face seems to scratch really easily. Overall, it's a great wedge for the money; it worked pretty well from bunkers too which is a nice bonus for a high handicapper like me just after a lob wedge
