CG12

Price: £89.99

The CG12 wedges look great at address and the new zip groove technology does seem to help generate extra control around the green.

Design and Tech Benefits

The latest CG12 wedges boast grooves milled to the maximum legal depth and width dimensions. These “Zip grooves” should generate extra spin and control. Chrome or black pearl finish. Visit clevelandgolf.com or telephone 01252761300.

Golf Monthly Verdict

The larger grooves are clearly visible at address and definitely create a little more stopping power around the greens. The classic Cleveland wedge look inspires confidence over the ball.

Fantastic wedges!! As a 17 handicapper the first thing my local pro told me was to learn how to putt!! The second thing was to find a wedge that you like and practice as much as you can with it. He recommended that I try one of these and i now have 3 of them and am currently playing below my 3/4 winter league handicap of 13!! I now stop the ball on the green and get 'action' on well hit shots, something which causes much discussion with the lower handicap players i play against in the weekly comps. The 58 degree standard bounce option is fantastic out of bunkers and a 54 degree low bounce option is great off tight fairways. They look great and will be staying in the bag for a long time (and better than the CG14 with the yellow blobs on!!) Graeme Jenkins.
