Square drivers first appeared a couple of years ago with the original Nike SQ Sumo2 and Callaway FT-i. Straight they may have been, but sound and distance didn't always hit the mark. The latest Nike SQ Dymo2 looks to have addressed these criticisms as our Gear Vault test team found out recently...

I have a last years nike driver nike sasquatch sumo 2 driver and comparred it to the new dymo 2. I see no changes apart from the colour and the sound when i tried the demo version and its more hevier and more quiet than the previous model which i dislike about the dymo 2. All the company have done is put a material inside the model to make it quiet and hevier. I preffered the sasquatch models because the noise is loud almost like a gun shot and its something to be proud of, and the sasquach models are more colourful and bright where as the dymo 2 is a dull colour but still the same shape. And I also think the straight fit just ruins the name of golf and it would take too long to adjust and it is something some people cannot be bothered with, but the good bit about the dymos are that they are very good for storage. And in my opinion I think the sumo models are the best and should carry on with what the company have done.
