It was a successful week for David Horsey and Davis Love III as both achieved great milestones in their own right.

Stockport-born Horsey won his fourth European Tour title at the Made in Denmark tournament, winning by two shots and taking maximum points in the Fantasy stakes.

Love made a piece of history in North Carolina on Sunday as he won the Wyndham Championship to become the third-oldest PGA Tour winner.

Tiger Woods threatened to take the headlines, but instead the incoming American Ryder Cup captain swooped to win his first PGA trophy of the season.
