New gear resolution
New wedges, new drivers, new putters, new hybrids, new golf balls…new gear resolution?
The new gear is arriving thick and fast in 2009. For all you equipment fanatics, no doubt they’ll be a few decisions to make in the coming weeks and months as you look to polish up your game. New wedges, new drivers, new putters, new hybrids, new golf balls…new gear resolution?
Maybe some of us are happy with what’s in the bag at the moment. Others may wish to tweak around. Others may have made a new gear resolution a few weeks back – not to get carried away.
But how can we? The new TaylorMade R9 driver was unveiled just a few days ago, but before we even got a chance to decide whether we’d be investing when it hits the shops, we’re informed that the new R9 fairway wood, Rescue and 09 Burner irons are also on the way.
We’re breaking. Any resolutions we’ve made are in danger. Then it becomes apparent that we’re set for another year of top gear and we may as well get used to it.
The new Mizuno MX-700 range will hit the shelves in mid February. Cobra are adding to their L5V with their S9-1 range, and there’s plenty more tempting gear on the way.
Be sure to visit our reviews, blogs and galleries, as well as our video reviews. We’ll endeavour to keep you updated and help you make the right decision as you seek to improve your game…and break your new gear resolution.
