you have now opened up a minefield of a subject.
very briefly, shafts have different flexes to suit different types of golfer, stronger/weaker, fast swing/slower swing etc. there are actually five (more common) flexes Extra Stiff, stiff, regular, ladies and senior, which very broadly are speed indicators.
It gets more complicated because not all shaft manufacturers use the same marking (S could be Stiff or Senior, which can also be A) and no two manufacturers shafts are the same for the same marking (one R could be 70 - 90 mph, another 80 - 100)
then you have to get into kick points etc. have a look at the link below, then Google on 'shaft flex kick points' - there's lots of reading

At a guess, I'd say that a senior stiff shaft would probably have similar characteristcis to a regular (in terms of weight and flex) but a mid kick point. Most regular shafts are likely to have a low kick point (to get the ball in the air). Only a guess...
As for stiff "lite"....any shaft can be designed to be light/lite regardless of flex. Stiff steel shafts are heavier than regular in general, so a bit like the answer above, I guess stiff lite would weigh a similar amount to a regular but with stiff characteristics of kick point and torque....also, only a guess.
My graphite design YS stiff shafts (in my irons) are far lighter than the regular steel of my old/spare set. They have a mid kick point to keep a lower trajectory (presumably) and a larger tip (think "fat shaft") to improve the twisting of a narrow tip.
So what with flex, weight, kick point, torque etc. there are getting on for 24 variations without even starting. Hence the reason for trying before you buy.

Bang & Olufsen!, for the price, you could buy a lot better sound per pound. They are what I would call a life style statement that any professional footballers must own . I am totally agree with you that bills, house, children do cost more now than ever and I haven't mention the WIFE yet!
