The fairway woods are available in two models – 3-4 and 5-7 – each of which can be adjusted to give eight different loft settings, whilst the hybrids offer three models – 2-3, 3-4 and 4-5 – each with 10 different lofts.
This new performance technology gives players the chance to maximise their long game performance by altering their launch trajectories to fit course conditions and create even yardage gaps in their bags.
In conjunction with the loft adjustability, the fairways and hybrids will also include Cobra’s SmartPad technology, which means a square face at address no matter the loft setting.
Both clubs will also come in a choice of four colours, Directoire Blue, Silver, Vibrant Orange and Barbados Red, which are available for the AMP CELL Driver as well to give the option of a matched set or a personalised look.
Bob Philion, President of Cobra Puma Golf, said: “The AMP Cell Driver, Fairways & Hybrids optimise a golfers’ ability to effectively manage their distance gaps, ultimately resulting in improved playability and performance.
“Our research shows most golfers are playing with the wrong loft. MyFly technology eliminates that worry by providing golfers the ability to adjust the loft on their own to find the perfect fit.”
The AMP Cell Fairways and Hybrids will be available in the UK on February 8th 2013.
