Cobra Golf have released the new AMP Cell Irons, packed with technology, they are said to offer explosive distance and pinpoint accuracy.
The four- to seven-irons have a thin, strong steel face that is welded to a softer steel body to give the golfer improved forgiveness and faster ball speeds to increase distance.
Cobra's E9 Face Technology offers optimised performance for each of the AMP CELL Irons, with improved forgiveness, distance and feel, based on the most common impact areas and patterns of golfers.
The V-Skid sole of the clubs are designed with a higher bounce leading edge and heel toe relief for forgiveness, designed to help mid- and high-handicappers whilst also making them versatile for better players.
The AMP Cell Irons are available in stock sets of 4-PW or 5-SW, in both right and left handed models with either steel or graphite shafts.
Vice President of Research and Development at Cobra Golf, Tom Preece, said: "Our AMP Cell Irons take the best technologies from our research in irons and combine them with metalwood-type construction.
"Bringing these technologies together provides golfers with higher, longer, more penetrating ball flight, superb accuracy, optimised CG placement and, ultimately, the best in performance."
The AMP Cell Irons will be available in the UK on February 8th 2013, with the steel sets retailing at around £549 and the Graphite sets at £649.
