Paul Wesselingh won last week's ISPS Handa PGA Seniors Championship at de Vere Mottram Hall to hand John Letters its first tour victory for more than 40 years.

The 2012 European Tour Senior Rookie of the Year shot rounds of 68, 70, 70 and 64 - the lowest round of the week - to finish four shots clear of Paraguay's Angel Franco on 20-under-par.

"It's unbelievable; I just can't believe I've done it. I couldn't believe I'd done it last year and I can believe I've done it again this year," said Wesselingh.

"To win it two years on the trot with this quality of field is incredible. I just played the best I've ever played today."

Paul - who teamed up with John Letters in early 2012 after testing its products on tour - used the Master Model driver and fairway, Satin irons, MM Grind wedges and a Golden Goose putter.

"I can't speak highly enough of John Letters and its team of tour staff. My clubs are great and I'm proud to say I'm a John Letters staff player," added Wesselingh.

The winner's cheque of €48,687 propels him to the top of the European Senior Tour Order of Merit.

Fellow staff player and brand ambassador Sam Torrance also enjoyed a fine week, returning rounds of 69, 73, 73 and 69 to finish inside the top 10.

"We're delighted for Paul and also to secure the first main tour victory for the brand in forty years. We've made huge strides since 2005 and it's great to see John Letters back in the winner's circle again," said John Andrew, the brand's Managing Director.
