Motocaddy's new M1 Lite push trolley comes with a raft of new technologies and performance benefits

Motocaddy has added to its comprehensive range of trolleys with the launch of the compact-folding M1 Lite.

The new push model incorporates a number of innovative new features, including some that have been borrowed from Motocaddy's power trolleys.

The M1 Lite weighs in at just 6 kg and sports a newly-designed ergonomic handle, which makes the trolley comfortable and easy to push.

Among its many additional features are an Integrated Accessory Station - allowing four accessories to be connected to the handle - a food and beverage pouch and a foot-operated parking break.

Motocaddy has invested more than 18 months into development of the M1 Lite push trolley, which utilises the twin-tube frame concept that helped make the M1 Pro so popular and successful.

The M1 Lite also uses a simple triple-fold mechanism that allows the trolley to be folded down to more than 50% smaller than existing Motocaddy push models.

"Customer feedback indicated that compactness is one of the most important factors for golfers when purchasing manual trolleys, so we've tailored our product development accordingly," said Motocaddy Marketing Manager Oliver Churcher.

"Although we're seeing a big increase in the number of golfers purchasing electric trolley models, more than 30% of trolley owners still use a manual version, so it's important we provide push options to suit their needs."

The M1 Lite - which joins the super-lightweight S1 Lite push trolley - is available to purchase now in Black or Alpine matt finishes.

The Motocaddy M1 Lite comes with an RRP of £149.99
