Callaway Big Bertha Fusion FT-3
For a club with a maximum size (460c) head the FT-3 looks surprisingly compact. Its looks wont be to everyone's liking but the red shaft/black head design is certainly striking.
Callaway Big Bertha Fusion FT-3 £299(g)
Design and Tech Benefits This titanium/graphite driver comes in Draw, Neutral or Fade versions. Extensive use of graphite in the head frees up 44g of internal weight that Callaway?s engineers have used to generate the three flight biases. You simply choose the model that most suits your needs.
Specs R/H and L/H 9.5°, 10°, 11° plus R/H only in 8.5, 9°, 10.5 and 16°. Light, regular and stiff shafts.
GM VERDICT For a club with a maximum size (460c) head the FT-3 looks surprisingly compact. It's looks wont be to everyone's liking but the red shaft/black head design is certainly striking. The FT-3 is excellent for distance and good for accuracy. It sounds slightly odd at impact and the looks wont suit everyone's taste, but it produces consistent hitting and solid strikes.
