Callaway Big Bertha Fusion
Solid performing composite fairway, but with a hefty price tag
Callaway Big Bertha Fusion £249(g)
Design and Tech Benefits The light graphite crown married to the steel body means weight can be distributed lower, pushing the centre of gravity lower and enabling a higher ball flight. A high moment of inertia should bring improved stability to the ball.
Spec Available in 3+, 3, 4, 5, 7 and 9 woods.
GM VERDICT Great from the deck and easy to use from the tee, excellent accuracy and great feel from the face. Difficult to fault although, the sound at impact is a little dull. A great looking club, enhanced by the snazzy red shaft. The sleek black head features a graphite crown and steel body. On the pricey side but if you?re prepared to pay the extra you won?t be disappointed. This is a solid performer producing consistent results.
