Design and and Tech Benefits The chunky heads give an immediate impression that these irons should be easy to hit. Looking down on them getting ready to wind up they don't look too bulky and hard to control. A low, deep centre of gravity creates a large hitting area for all round playability. So for mid or high handicappers the forgiving nature should really help.

GM VERDICT The MacGregor M455 are easy to hit, offering a consistent strike and good, solid ball flight, ideal for improving golfers. The chunky heads won't be everyone's cup of tea but the ease with which they can be hit should appeal to many.
