The legendary Titleist Pro V1 golf ball franchise has been updated for 2015

One of golf's most iconic franchises has been updated with the introduction of 2015 Titleist Pro V1 and Pro V1x golf balls.

These new models are borne from unparalleled knowledge, research and development and technological advancements.

The Pro V1 golf ball first made an appearance at the 2000 Invensys Classic in Las Vegas.

Some 47 players put it in play that week - a huge paradigm shift - and it became the best-selling ball in golf in March 2001, just three months after its launch into the consumer marketplace.

The Titleist Pro V1x followed in 2003, and, since then, both Pro V1 models have been the most-played on tour and the best-selling golf balls around the world.

After an extensive period of R&D, testing and player validation, the 2015 Titleist Pro V1 and Pro V1x golf balls have been unveiled.

There are some 90 process and product quality checks for the Pro V1 and around 120 for the dual-core Pro V1x, ensuring each ball performs to maximum standards before being distributed.
