Iconic four-time Ryder Cup host venue The Belfry has been added to the De Vere Club, making it more accessible to a wider range of golfers.

The De Vere Club is a points based membership where, for an annual fee of £295, golfers have the chance to play at De Vere's 12 golf resorts and 19 golf courses across the UK.

The flexible scheme also enables members to nominate a home club, compete in competitions and earn discounts on hotel rooms, golf equipment, food and drink. Points can also be used towards buggy and range ball hire, spa treatments and leisure club usage.

"We are delighted to introduce the De Vere Club at the Belfry," said Jamie Carroll, Group Membership Sales Manager.

"The resort is renowned for the quality of its championship golf course, The Brabazon and PGA National, along with the PGA National Academy and an array of off-course leisure facilities that make it one of the most desirable venues in golf.

"Golfers have responded positively to a more flexible, cost-effective golf membership and the addition of The Belfry will have a positive impact on the value of it."

The De Vere Club was introduced in 2012, and its flexibility and value for money has made it very popular with UK golfers.

Ian Knox, The Belfry's new Director of Golf, added: "The De Vere club has clearly struck a chord with the golfing public at all levels of the game and is encouraging new people to the sport, which can only be a good thing."
