Boss has put £1,000,000 worth of watches up for grabs in 2013 for golfers who record a hole-in-one during club competitions.

Boss Watches will award a specially commissioned, limited-edition timepiece to each golfer who cards a verified hole-in-one between April 15 and October 31.

Any members playing in official competitions at one of the 1,800 clubs registered with golfing social network HowDidiDo will be eligible for the prize.

Winners will also be invited to join the exclusive BOSS Watches H1 Club, launched in association with HowDidiDo and the Telegraph, which entitles them to exclusive benefits and H1 club merchandise.

"To the majority of amateur golfers, recording a hole-in-one will be the most memorable thing they achieve in golf - yet all many have to show for it is a dent in their bank balance after buying a round of drinks in the clubhouse," said Stephen Brydon, UK sales and marketing director for MGS Distribution, the official licensed UK distributor for BOSS Watches.

"We aim to make it a lot more memorable for them by presenting them with an exclusive BOSS watch, available only to golfers who record a hole-in-one.

"It also adds a frisson of extra excitement to club competitions to golfers who may not be in with a chance of winning, for they know every time they stand on a par-3, they are just one shot away from winning a stunning timepiece."

No registration in required to participate, as all holes-in-one will be recorded on HowDidiDo and ratified by the golfer's club.

The BOSS Watches H1 Club launches for holes-in-one recorded from April 15, 2013.
