Following on from the launch of the 815 drivers, Callaway Big Bertha Alpha 815 fairway woods and hybrids have been introduced.

The 815 fairways fine-tune spin control and trajectory for optimum ball flights, while 815 hybrids come with the promise of increased distance.

Big Bertha Alpha 815 fairway woods:

The new 815 fairways are designed to provide increased ball speeds across the entire face, especially from shots missed low on the club.

This is achieved through a Forged Hyper Speed Face Cup, as well as 3g and 30g adjustable weights.

These can be moved forward to create a low-spinning ball flight, or back for a higher launch and better forgiveness.

The Callaway Big Bertha Alpha 815 fairways boast a compact head shape and eight-way OptiFit adjustability of loft and lie angle.

They are available from January 16, 2015 and come with an RRP of £249.

Big Bertha Alpha 815 hybrids:

According to Callaway, Big Bertha Alpha 815 hybrids will produce a more penetrating trajectory and increased ball speed across the entire face.

They are likely to be preferred by better players, thanks to a compact head shape and minimal offset.

Again, high ball speeds across the entire face come courtesy of a Forged Hyper Speed Face Cup.

An internal standing wave and sole weighting move the centre of gravity low and forward for a more penetrating ball flight with less spin.

There’s eight-way adjustability through the OptiFit mechanism and a lightweight Speeder shaft helps create even more speed.

The Big Bertha 815 Alpha hybrids will also be available from January 16, 2015 with an RRP of £219.
