Ben joins Gatton from Hindhead Golf Club, where he has spent the past 2 years as senior instructor. Together with the club he has helped develop and set up the Hindhead Academy building an excellent reputation amongst members and visitors. His reputation also extends to coaching up and coming talent, both amateur and professional, looking to improve their games.

Originally from Godalming, Ben played his amateur golf at The Hindhead Golf Club before turning professional in 1997. After spells at The Wisley, West Sussex and Wokefield Park, Ben moved to Mill Ride Golf Club where he was the tournament professional for five years. Working with some of the country’s best courses and coaches, Ben became PGA Qualified at the age of 22 spending 5 years playing full time with spells on The European Challenge Tour and Australasian Tour; he holds a total of ten PGA victories under his belt in which he is committed to.

At Gatton Manor Ben will look towards structuring tuition to players own requirements, with a large focus on the importance of the short game to aid the lowering of scores. With the aid of some of the most up to date computer analysis Ben is confident that he can improve everyone’s golf game!
