According to data compiled by the Darrel Survey, 81% of competitors trusted Golf Pride grips at last week's Open Championship at Muirfield, with 126 of the 156-strong field that teed it up using Golf Pride grips.

The statistics show that eight out of the last 10 Masters and US Open winners used Golf Pride grips while nine out of the last 10 winners of the Open Championship used the company's grips. Seven out of the last 10 USPGA champions have also relied on Golf Pride grips.

"We are delighted to announce that Golf Pride grips were the No. 1 choice for the vast majority of competitors at this year's Open Championship at Muirfield," said Conor Dillon, Golf Pride's Sales and Marketing Manager for Europe, Middle East and Africa.

"That continues a long-term trend that has seen Golf Pride dominate the grip count at the Majors for many years."
