Ping Apparel's spring/summer 2015 collection, including garments for both men and women, has been introduced
Ping Apparel’s spring/summer 2015 collection, including garments for both men and women, has been introduced.
The first collection manufactured exclusively under Ping’s direction uses the highest-specification fabrics to crate a performance range in keeping with the brand’s reputation.
The ‘eye mark’ – which first appeared on the famous Eye 2-iron in the 1980s – is also a constant throughout a collection characterised by subtlety and clean colour stories.
In terms of polo shirts, the water-resistant Latimer design features a crease-free gauge with moisture movement, UV protection and anti-bacterial properties.
Other polos, inducing the Bancroft and Gilden, come with a premium feel, thanks to their soft-touch polyester construction.
The former features colour-coordinated stripes while the latter comes with button-down collars.
The four-way stretch and crease-resistant Dean chino – which comes in six colours – and the 100% Merino Dunbar sweater supplement Ping Collection’s signature polo-shirts.
All garments throughout the spring/summer 2015 collection come with either Sensory Dry, Cool or Warm properties for comfort, longevity and all-weather protection.
“At Ping, we never stop thinking about golf. That allows us to concentrate solely on engineering our products for golfers, and only golfers,” said Andy Solheim, Vice President of Brand Development.
“The Ping Apparel spring/summer 2015 range is aesthetically pure, performance driven and tailored for the modern game.
“We’ve engineered each garment to meet the challenges of our game head on. The resulting performance, combined with a refined visual appearance and cut, has produced a very exciting line.”
The Ping Apparel spring/summer 2015 collection is available in sizes S-XXXL, with RRPs ranging from £45 to £70.
Every garment in the women’s line come with a new Ping ladies logo, which can also be found on the brand’s Rhapsody line of clubs.
The women’s range utilises feminine touches, including soft-touch fabrics and carefully selected colour palettes.
“This women’s line is so balanced. We’ve altered the structure slightly, and added beautiful detailing which really feminises the feel of the collection,” said Solheim.
“It’s clean, distinguished and really performs. We’re very excited to launch this across Europe.”
