Stuburt has announced its support of the newly-branded Darren Clarke Golf School, formerly the Junior Golf Academy.

Stuburt, a long-time supporter of junior golf, was eager to extend its association with the Junior Golf Programme in Northern Ireland when its brand ambassador, Clarke, took a more active role.

With the benefit of the recently-named Ryder Cup vice-captain's involvement, the school, the only full-time golf school in Ireland, will continue to provide a two-year, full-time programme of development for aspiring young golfers aged 16 and older.

Stuburt will now supply the more than 20 students on the programme with its Autumn/Winter 2010 range of performance golf wear.

Designed with feedback from Stuburt's tour players, including Northern Ireland's Gareth Maybin, 2010 US Open champion Graeme McDowell and Clarke, the new collection builds on the success of the extremely popular S10 range of apparel, rainwear and footwear.

From lined sweaters to performance base layers, fleeces to rainwear, the AW10 Stuburt apparel collection offers a wider range of stylish and technical sportswear for golfers this winter.

Ulsterman Clarke, who has been instrumental in the design of the much-coveted Stuburt DCC Classic golf shoe, recently committed his future to Stuburt by signing a new deal with the company earlier this year.
