The Belfry has scooped further awards after being acclaimed Britain's most successful golf resort at the recent 59Club Awards ceremony at the De Vere Mottram Hall.
The Ryder Cup resort won four awards for outstanding customer service, based on consumer research conducted by 59Club, the golf benchmarking company and official supplier to the Professional Golfers' Association.
A total of 59 resorts throughout the UK and Ireland were considered and The Belfry came out on top as the 'Leading individual performance by a Golf Operations Team', 'Golf Operations Team of the Year', 'Four Star golf service venue', and 'Best conditioned and presented golf course' (The Brabazon).
The Belfry recently reported a 10% increase in the amount of golfers playing The Brabazon, PGA National and Derby courses during 2011, as well as a similar increase in the number of people booking custom-fit sessions at its PGA National Golf Academy.
