Under Armour Autumn Winter Apparel Revealed

A huge hit in the UK’s clothing market, Under Armour has been a go to brand for golfers to stay warm and dry in the winter months.

Under Armour has introduced a three-tiered index to its Storm technology, to make golfers aware of the differing levels of weather protection Storm offers against the conditions we face. These come in the shape of Storm 1, Storm 2 and Storm 3.

Storm 1 delivers golfers with water-resistant clothing through Under Armour’s DWR finish. This repels water making it appropriate for showers and light rain.

Under Armour Products include: UA Element Golf Pant (£70), UA Tips Vest (£85), Jacket (£100), UA Flagstick Storm Fleece ¼ Zip (£50) and the UA Storm Links ¼ Zip (£55).

Storm 2 goes a step further with highly water-resistant and windproof garments, featuring 3-layer bonded fabrics and windproof materials.

Products include: Elemental ¼ Zip (£75) Elemental Jacket (£85).

Storm 3 provides golfers the windproof and waterproof option. It is suitable for the worst conditions that winter golf has to offer. Under Armour uses Cocona fabrics, which disperse moisture and dry very fast and a 2.5 layer fabric for a fully breathable construction.

Products include: UA Storm Dry Movement Jacket (£100), UA Storm Dry Movement ½ sleeve (£75) and UA Storm Dry Movement Pant (£70).

This fabric innovation sees the use of a three-layer bonded material that delivers a durable, smooth outside and a soft interior, which keeps them 100% waterproof and very breathable.

The range welcomes back the return of ColdGear and ColdGear Infrared technologies. To complete the range, baselayers, polos, headwear and accessories are available.

So if you’re worried about what to wear in the horrible wintery conditions, look no further.
