Keep a wide arc for more power

A wide arc is key for longer drives

Many amateurs lack swing width (resulting in a loss of power) because they bend their left elbow at the top of their backswing.

A wide swing arc forces the club to travel further, and the further it travels the more clubhead speed is generated. Sweep the club away as far as possible before turning it skyward. Ensure your left arm stays extended through the backswing and extend your arms fully through impact.
